For years I have thought about adding links to my website, but one thing or another kept me from doing it.  I was either worried that I didn’t have enough links, or that I had too many, or that perhaps I would put up the wrong link and it would come back to bite me.  Could people get the wrong impression of me and/or my ministry by viewing selected links?  Would anybody care?  Would they be useful?

Well, I finally decided to go for it.  These links represent an effort to give you a peek into my personality as well as an attempt on my part to offer assistance to people who are interested in some of the same things that fascinate me.  It won’t take long to figure out that I am a homeschool dad who is very interested in Classical Christian education (and higher education) and family issues.  I am also a theological conservative in the Reformed Baptist tradition.  I am also very interested in what’s going on in the culture and how to respond appropriately.  I am still searching for a political term with which to describe myself, but none seem to fit.  Suffice to say, I am on the Jeffersonian side of the Jefferson/Hamilton debate.

These links do not represent blanket endorsements, nor are they meant to be exhaustive in any way.  They are simply meant to whet your appetite and perhaps start you on your way as you use the World Wide Web to broaden your horizons.

HOMESCHOOL/CHRISTIAN EDUCATION

To say that I am a proponent (or even an exponent) of the homeschool movement is to grossly understate the point.  My wife and I homeschool our children.  We have also had the privilege of walking other families through the process of becoming homeschoolers.  These sites will give you a better idea of what homeschooling is all about.

CHRISTIAN COLLEGES STRIVING FOR A CONSISTENT BIBLICAL WORLDVIEW

AND ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE

Since I addressed the issue of Christian higher education in The Ever Loving Truth, several people have asked for my help as they seek out colleges that maintain the highest academic standards while holding true to sound biblical theology.  Admittedly, the list is very short.  These are not the only schools that fit the bill, but they do represent institutions that are striving to incorporate a biblical worldview in all disciplines without compromising their commitment to first-rate academics.  I have included these schools because of personal research and/or recommendations from trusted sources.   The best thing I can say about them is that they represent the list of schools I have actually considered for my own children.

Theology/BIBLE Study

I like to knock around on websites that get my theological juices flowing.  Some of these sites have articles, papers and other downloadable materials.  Others are just sites that I have enjoyed visiting.  Most of them come from a Reformed perspective, since that best describes my personal theology.  However, there is a bit of variety.
