We Texans are a verry independent bunch.  In fact, talk to the average Texan and they’ll tell you things like, “We’re the only ones who can fly our flag at the height of the US flag”, and “We’ve got a secession clause in our State Constitution.”  You’d also have a hard time convincing some Texans that Alaska is actually bigger (Everything’s bigger in Texas, so they may be larger, but they’re not bigger).  Texans also pride themselves on being one of the few states in the US with no income tax (not bad for one of the largest economies in the world).  Now our Governor is using the ‘S’ word.  Don’t Mess With TEXAS!
