We have all heard the mantra, “Islam is a religion of peace.”  However, anyone who studies Islam, or keeps up with the news in the Islamic world knows that the opposite is true.  While there are members of every religion who commit violent acts, Islam is in a category all its own.  One example is Saudi Arabia (our “ally” in the Muslim World) where yet another man is in jail for the heinous crime of converting to Christianity.  For more information, go to www.thereligionofpeace.com, a site I visit frequently for information about what’s going on in the Islamic world.

As I have written before, radical Islam represents one of the greatest threats the world faces today.  This is an issue that requires our attention.  We must become informed about the religion of Islam and stop listening to the propaganda coming out of the media.  We must pray for our Muslim friends and neighbors.  We must also share the gospel with those in the Muslim community.
